i'm not quite sure what to type but then hmm since my laptop's having a long repair session with the service centre(will talk abt that later) and I'm currently using the PC in my house, might as well I type some shit lol.
It's been a long while since I type some daily shit but hey, I think its worth making a point :D Well. On monday, the 18th, I woke up in the morning pretty psyched up to go fix my laptop, its still working, but the casings and all are pretty bad lol. But hell. Nobody can go with me so I decided to postpone it. Spending time at home is not so bad too haha.
Till Wednesday. No choice die die must go make liao. Somemore this time round if I don't go fix probably will never have time to go fix when school starts. Ok. So I went down. Entire crowd of people waiting for express service. Those kind of on the spot repair for you then within 2 hours you can have it back kind of stuff. But then I realised that the damages on the casing and all is pretty bad and I have alot of stuff to fix. So decided to drop it in for repairing. And miraculously I was told that I'm second in queue. (I guess Singaporean laptop users can't wait for their laptop to be fixed overnight. :P)
Met the service technician blahblahblah, and holy wtf. When I received the work order paper to sign on, some details caught my eye.
1)Appt. Date: 27th June
(that's pretty long for just fixing 5 problems. Worse come to worse just change the entire casing for me la. Acer earning millions every month right :) Well. What to do. That guy reminded me that dropping in will take 5 WORKING DAYS to get the laptop done. ZZZZ.)
2)User dropped his notebook. Informed user he may need to pay for lower case replacement.
(HERE'S the problem. I got no cash for this month. And the guy simply said it will cost more than $50. Now that's quite a bit of cash. JEEZUS man. lucky. I have till 27th June to find some cash haha.)
That roughly sums up the visit to Acer Service Centre. Pretty much killed the interest to get it back but what to do. I shouldn't have dropped my laptop in the first place. -_-"
ah. I need to make a note here for my R/C kit. for those of you out there, I took up a new CCA in NgeeAnn which is Radio Control Car Drifting so yeah. do chat me up if you are interested to know more. :)

hmm just read about this excerpt from mrbrown's blog. as usual, everyone's pissed that the student did those kind of things and to make things worse, the student is from hwachong instituition and the school openly supported the student. ok. i think everyone who read it already will immediately feel something.
it doesnt matter what the student or the bus driver do. i'm sure i'm not interested in knowing what will happen next. i'm very surprised by what the student's father did. mainly because of my parentage, if i ever get into such problems, my dad will most probably let me go to police station and see what happens next. i must say. fathers like this student's dad is very difficult to find already.
with countless people being against the student and his school for supporting him, needless to say, there will be one day that his father will have to something drastic to apologise to the general public. sometimes its this kind of situation that the youngsters don't understand. "already trying to help you as much as possible already. why can't you just leave it as it is and admit that you are at fault?"
i think i'm the fewer people who are angry because of the way the student handled the matter. something like. you are at fault and you chose to blame it all on misunderstanding after all that your father did for you. how many times are you going to let your dad forsake his dignity to get on the ground to beg for you? why can't you just face the music? even if its really a misunderstanding, is it worth wasting your dad's effort? he gave up his dignity just to save your ass.
even if i'm one of the few that still believe in a person's dignity, i still think that so long as someone is willing to put down his dignity to save someone else, i think its above all to not let his effort go to waste.
that reminds me. will anyone of you do such a thing in future if your child gets into trouble? think carefully. you may have a successful career and are very advanced in whichever field that you specialize in. will you still do it?

i'm guilty of reading and dont comment :P let's see if i have some answers of my own to help you out with your question. i dun wish to understand your prob though. i just want to share with you :D
when you are thinking of things you have done or not do, you feel like you didnt do enough or didnt do it at all, the feeling is something similar to regret. you can disagree with these, but this is still one of the most basic form of regret and it is also one of those that can last for a long time to come.
by defining a maximum that you can do so that you will not regret after that, is not a solution at all. yes you may convince yourself for the time being that u have done all u can, but at a later part of time, when the issue comes up again and you will think again; "why didnt i do more?" so actually defining a maximum shouldnt be on your mind when doing things because you limit yourself to many other possibilities and at the same time make yourself more prone to regret.
for choices and last thing, my answer is somewhat similar to the above. its whether you are giving that issue a chance to be your regret in future or not.
maturity. hmm. i also have a problem with this too. but then, you need to know something. what people may feel is immature about you, someone may feel otherwise. its always a better option to seek opinion from people that are not so close to you. reason is simple. seeking opinion from people who are close to you usually result in the same answer which usually equal to no point in asking. but people who are not so close to you may not know what you exactly are like and will tend to look at the problem as the problem it is and not compare you to what you have done before. well. i think they can help in that way. but still again, sometimes, your close friends know you better. so there's really no need to restrict yourself to few opinions :)
oh yes. REGRETS have nothing to do with MATURITY. why? because matured and old people do have their own regrets, its just that they do not speak it out that easily and some people prefer to just bring their regrets into their coffin along with themselves. so in case you are thinking of immaturity resulting in regrets, that is due to IGNORANCE. example: kid scolding parents. they didnt know they shouldnt do that. tell me of a kid that never scolded their parent in a way or another and i'll rest this case.
ok. i myself don't know what i want now but when the time comes, i think i will know what i need to stay with. i'm not a long term planner. short term plans are more feasible la. haha but you are free to use any methods to plan your own future. really. its your own life anyway. all i can say is that. people who dream have hopes for the future. but hope itself cant bring you anyway. you need to dream and work damned hard for it or else you wont get it. its not that human dunno how to give up. its just that, if you don't give up, some day you might just get what you want. that's the theory. i think you know that too :D
eh when something is impossible, it should be a situation where you have tried all that you can think of but still the problem is not solved? actually as much as we would like to define whether things are impossible or possible, it sometimes is worth giving things that may seem impossible a try before being more certain that it cant be done.
lastly, i do know that saying is much easier than doing, but it really depends if you want to make a difference not.

oh ya. just thought of something. really interesting as I was speaking to my NgeeAnn classmate a few months back. haha. she asked how come I can still be so interested in NPCC after 4years when most people will just try something new and all. then i thought about it and told her something like this: "if one day i find that i can no longer learn from this CCA(npcc), i will most probably quit."
i think that made some sense. more than 1 year back i think i'm very much the newbie and all. quite abit of distance have been covered and all, but then there is still so much more, so i am thankful for the people around me helping me out and all. keep it up.

1) She don't have to be perfect :) I don't think a perfect person will be able to stand an imperfect partner. I'm not perfect. That's for sure haha. Somehow more difference more things to know about one another. Isnt that better? More similarity also the same la. No need to mind each other's differences that much haha. I dun think its easy to understand this but hmm I hope readers get my point haha
2) As much as I would hope to tolerate her difference. I hope she can tolerate mine too. haha. Give and take :) I don't mind giving but I would mind if the girl don't take. Wahaha. Ok la. Too much taking will be tiring so yeah balance balance
3) Not a fussy person haha. Guys tend to be quite chinchai (anyhow) at times so it takes alot of heart for girls to get used to it, but hey anyhow doesnt mean no sincerity ahh. its the thought that counts rite. and of course i'm not always anyhow de :)
4) Someone who wont mind having to start talking first. Its quite weird la haha but then girls who dun mind taking the initiative is a PLUS point to me. 5) I have difficulty dealing with girls who have the tendency to take longlong time to make replies. hmm once in a while is okay la but then if its a habit it will definitely kill interest unless if the person is willing to improve it :) I have the problem too haha but once I happen to be in a discussion I'll try to reply as fast as possible unless its just casual chatting then i might take some time but most of the time I'll try to reply promptly too
6) A girl who is alrite with unconventional tactics in pleasing girls. haha my meaning of unconventional is the mixture of new and old dating methods :) i'm trying to surprise her ma lol. But then sometimes if it becomes a bore, I dun mind sticking to the fixed methods, but please do let me know :)
7) Non-materialistic girls can be a big plus too. I'm not money-rich at all. That's for sure. But I can be rich on one thing. Time. Haha. If i cant make it up in money the best I can for you is to reciprocate with time. Or maybe exchange the term with love. :D ok this is getting outta hand haha.

As I was saying, Addie, Peilin and Cas is in School of Infocom Tech. (ICT) and YapJiahao, in School of LifeScience and Chemical Tech. (LSCT) is like 5-10 mins away from my block. which is tucked away far away in NgeeAnn poly. Far from the entrance. So its quite sad if somebody want to beat you up then your new friends not around then you gotta rely on your old nh friends to back u up here and there. (ok sorry for the poor example LOL. ngeeann people are civilised, when they fight, they fight in games called DOTA)
If anybody is interested for a trip to NgeeAnn do find a NgeeAnn student in advance. If you are lost, You probably gonna spend at least 2 hours finding your way around. UNLESS you meet up with super kind souls or someone who REALLY know their way. So far I have been giving vague directions to people asking me.
Maybe for the fact that I am a Mechanical Engineering division student, i can only be sure of those blocks that i go for lessons and the rest is cannot give you instructions because i know roughly how to go physically and not verbally. Not that pro yet :D
I dun think there is any 1st years out there who dare to say they know NP like the back of their hand. DEFINITELY asking for whacking de. those kind of people. LOL. even year3s lose their ways haha.
